Are you feeling blue?

Feeling Blue? Here’s My Go-To Feel Good Tool Kit

Long time no see! Life has been a whirlwind lately—after 6 weeks in the Arctic and a 4-week road trip around Spain, coming back to reality hit me hard. My to-do list feels endless, and my energy? Pretty low.

So, I turned to my “Feel Good Tool Kit” to pull myself out of the post-holiday blues.

Here’s what’s inside:

  1. Awareness: Check in with yourself. Am I hungry? Cold? Tired? Sometimes, it’s the simple things that drag us down.

  2. Move My Body: Move to lift your mood. Swim, dance, stretch, walk, or even go for a drive with your favorite playlist. Movement is magic.

  3. Express Myself: Let it out. Sing, write in your journal, or even talk out loud to yourself. Expression helps clear the mind.

  4. Create: Channel your energy. Knit, take photos, cook something new, or dive into a DIY project. Creativity grounds us.

  5. Connect: Don’t go through it alone. Nature, a chat with a friend, a pet cuddle—whatever connects you back to joy.

  6. Expand: Feed your mind. Read an inspiring book, watch a YouTube creator, listen to a podcast, or simply try something new. Keep your spirit curious and open.

  7. Calm My Mind: Still your mind. Meditate, deep breathing exercises, or guided visualizations to center yourself. Listen to calming music or nature sounds. Sometimes, all we need is a moment of peace.

These aren’t grand gestures, just small actions that remind me (and hopefully you) to take care of ourselves when life feels heavy.

What’s inside your feel-good kit? Hit reply—I’d love to know what helps you bounce back! 💫

Until next time, take care of yourself.

You’re worth it.
