Are you feeling alive?

The last three days reminded me of something I often forget…

Hello there,

When you’re deeply committed to growth, performance, success, it’s easy to forget about something essential:

Enjoying life.

Really enjoying it.

Not just ticking goals off the list or pushing through the next milestone.

But laughing.

Swimming.

Walking in the rain.

Doing things not because they’re “productive”, but because they make you feel alive.

I’ve spent the last few days in Saint Helena, an island in the middle of the Atlantic.

And for the first time in a while, I let go of the need to do everything right.

I let myself feel instead of just focus.

I swam at night in warm, dark water under the stars.

I woke up before sunrise just to watch the light shift over the horizon.

I walked up Jacob’s Ladder in the rain before breakfast, drenched, breathless, and smiling.

I danced in a random club with strangers I’d just met.

I spoke to people who opened my heart in unexpected ways.

None of it was planned.

None of it was optimized.

And yet, every bit of it made me feel connected, joyful, and more human.

It reminded me that performance doesn’t have to mean pressure.

You can move with ambition and softness.

You can pursue success and savour beauty.

You can do the work and dance in the dark.

So this week, I’m not challenging you to push harder or achieve more.

I’m inviting you to soften.

To open.

To feel.

To find one moment that makes you smile without reason.

To do something for the joy of it, not the outcome.

Because this too is part of your performance.

This too is part of being alive.

Thanks for reading 🖤,

Aitana

P.S. Want to tell me the last random thing you did that made you feel alive?
